When You Feel Too Broken

Hey y’all! How have you been doing?

It’s been a while since I sat down to write my thoughts. So much has happened since then. When I look back on my journey, I’m honestly amazed at how God has worked things through. Lately, I’ve been reflecting on my past self—the version of me who wrestled with self-doubt, insecurity, and the weight of others’ opinions. I used to think God only used the confident, the gifted, the strong but I was wrong. There were seasons when I struggled deeply, especially in social settings. The more I tried to connect, the more I felt like I didn’t belong. I couldn’t silence the thoughts in my mind. But deep within, I held onto the belief that I was created for something greater. And that belief—my faith—is what I’ve always returned to when life feels heavy.

Recently, a truth settled in my heart in a deeper way: God works through the weak, the tired, the uncertain, the broken, the ones who feel like their cup is empty.

He chose Moses—a man who stammered—to lead over 600,000 Israelites to freedom.

He chose David—a teenage shepherd—to defeat Goliath, a trained giant warrior.

He chose Hannah—despised by society for being barren—to give birth to a prophet.

He chose fishermen—uneducated and ordinary—to become apostles who changed the world.

He chose the blind, the deaf, the rejected, the broken, and the outcasts… to fulfill His will.

And in my lowest moments, He met me right there. In my weakness, He gave me His strength.

In my silence, He spoke life. Sometimes, when we see pain and injustice all around us, we wonder how God can be in control. But I’ve come to understand that while God is sovereign, He allows free will. And even when life doesn’t make sense, He is still working. He hasn’t left us—He’s right there, in the waiting, in the weeping, and in the wondering.

My confidence rests not in who I am, but in whose I am. The God who hung every star in the sky knows my name—and He knows yours too. He has a plan for our lives that is meaningful, purposeful, and beautiful beyond imagination.

Have you ever felt like you're not enough, even when you're doing your best?

“But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.”— 1 Corinthians 1:27 (NIV)

So if you’re feeling weary or worn down, I just want to remind you: you’re never too broken for God to use. You’re never too lost to be found. And you are never, ever alone.

Have you ever felt like you're not enough for God to use? You’re not alone—and you’re not disqualified!

I hope this made your day as I always say!
